The classic meets art at the Hauser & Wirth Gallery takes place among the works on paper by the German artist Günther Förg. Using watercolour, acrylic or oil paints, charcoal, chalk and ink, he has created his very own visual world of grids, dots and landscapes. Visual ideas are also at the beginning of the compositional process of our Creative Chair Anna Thorvaldsdottir: she always starts from large-format drawings when developing her works. Musicians from the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich play two of her works in the exhibition. They will be accompanied by Arvo Pärt's famous string quartet "Fratres".
A short introduction to the exhibition and the musical programme as well as a drink at the bar will set the scene.
