Livestream: Conductors' Academy with Paavo Järvi
Intro
Holly Choe über die Conductors' Academy

At the second Conductors' Academy, six promising young conductors from all over the world will again have the opportunity to learn from Music Director Paavo Järvi and his work with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. The academy students will work intensively on their technical skills and at the same time gain insight into the management of a concert hall and orchestra.

The four course blocks with Paavo Järvi also offer the public an exciting insight into the art of conducting:

The course blocks can be attended free of charge at the Tonhalle Zurich. You can get free tickets online or on site at the ticket office.

Or you can watch the course blocks and the closing concert in the livestream.

In the closing concert, each individual candidate conducts a piece and can demonstrate his/her acquired skills. And that's not all: this year there will again be a jury prize and an audience prize to be won.
