tonhalleLATE with Frank Strobel and Kon Faber
Here comes the next edition of tonhalleLATE. This time with film music by Howard Shore and electronic music by Kon Faber.
In the first part of the evening, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zurich, conducted by film music expert Frank Strobel, will play excerpts from film scores by Howard Shore. The Canadian composer and three-time Oscar winner is known for his music for films such as "The Silence of the Lambs", "Philadelphia", "The Aviator", "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Fly". We perform his film music live - naturally with the corresponding film excerpts on the big screen in the Grosse Tonhalle, which is once again transformed into an extraordinary cinema.
Afterwards, the evening continues electronically in the foyer with musicians from the orchestra and Kon Faber: the electronic live duo are usually at home in Berlin, but are now guests at the Tonhalle Zurich. And then it's time to dance the night away: with Zagara's DJ set, a long night on the dance floor is guaranteed.
