tonhalleLATE with Paavo Järvi and KID SIMIUS

Just in time for the start of the Zurich carnival, we immerse ourselves in the colourful, cheerful spring.

In the first part of the evening, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, conducted by Music Director Paavo Järvi, will play "Concert Românesc" by György Ligeti, followed by Schumann's 3rd Symphony, the "Rhenish". The festive atmosphere of this symphony already gives a foretaste of the motto of the electro act in the second part: "Paths out of Winter".

Just in time for the start of the Zurich carnival, we are celebrating the imminent arrival of spring musically: our musicians are teaming up with electro artist KID SIMIUS. Originally from Spain, he currently lives in Berlin and has already worked with greats such as Paul Kalkbrenner. KID SIMIUS seems to effortlessly combine different styles of music such as Italo with house and hip-hop. A long night on the dance floor is guaranteed.
